My name is Erica. I am 27 years old. I have a daughter named Angie and a kitty named Star. I live in Queens, New York and I work in the Hell’s Kitchen area in NYC. I work as a graphic designer/production manager for a CD/DVD manufacturer, producing thousands and thousands of discs. I’ve been working here for more than 7 years.

I don’t claim to be a photographer, as there are too many out there to fight for that title. I am just a simple picture-taker, who likes to snap things that are interesting to me. I carry my camera(s) with me every day, because I see so many interesting things in this city of New York.

I am obsessed with all sorts of photos.  I feel the best way to see through someone’s eyes, is through the photos that they take. When I was young, I used to make it a habit and go through old family photos, try to see what they saw and come up with my own visual opinion.

I have three cameras. Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS, Kodak EasyShare Z1012 IS and a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS. For everyday use, I use the Powershot. On special occasions, I would use the Kodak. A few years ago, I used to own a Rebel XT, but had to sell it for personal reasons. On January 2nd, 2009, I purchased the Rebel XS. It was my desire to own one again and I made a promise that I’d obtain one this year.

I had always wanted to be a ‘photographer’ but realistically it wasn’t a job for me. I do this solely for personal pleasure. This is my hobby and I intend on keeping it that way. However — if you like the way I see through the glass, and would like to hire me, contact me.
